Senior Portraits in Pittsburgh: Hadly, 2014

Saturday, July 27th, 2013

A few weeks ago a I shot a photo session with Hadly in Pittsburgh. Ever since my senior portrait session with Paige last year, I have been getting a lot of requests for “the bridge shot”. Please note, I only photograph people on the bridge when it is CLOSED. A lot of people have asked me how I managed to stop the traffic. Please use good sense when taking pictures!

Hadly was a lovely person, inside and out, and she had the most amazing blue eyes. It rained the entire drive to the session and I was worried we were going to have to reschedule. But the skies cleared, and while we didn’t have any sun, I was actually in love with the overcast day. As much as I love the backlighting and fun shadow play you can get on sunny days, colors tend to be more deep and vivid on overcast days.

Paige, Slippery Rock, Class of 2013

Wednesday, August 22nd, 2012

It must be August because I am shooting an insane amount of sessions right now and severely lacking time to blog them! First up, Paige! This girl is beautiful inside and out. She and her family are huge Steelers fans so we headed down to the stadium for her shoot. She even brought props!

Tiffany: Pittsburgh Senior Portraits 2010

Friday, October 2nd, 2009

Tiffany and I had a very interesting time at her senior portrait session traveling over several acres of property in ATVs and then on foot to visit some of her favorite places.  Tiffany loves outdoors and nature and skeet shooting (more on that later) but she is also a fashion diva. I loved her clothing selections! This first image of her is one of my favorite images of the year and I have already had it printed for display in the studio.

She wishes she has blue eyes, but I think her brown eyes are stunning.
