I had the pleasure of spending some time with Kayla recently and helping her with some images for her modeling portfolio. I am loving the longer days and warm sunshine. I feel like when I am working with the sun I am really in the zone!
When I first started in photography, I often feared the sun because it can be tricky to work with. I would do just about anything to avoid it. I remember driving to sessions literally praying for clouds! Now I feel lost without the sun. Both the image above and the image below were shot with full, hard sun. Two totally different looks!
Saved my favorite for last.
Just a reminder, senior portrait season for the Class of 2013 officially begins next month. Save yourself the stress of yearbook deadlines etc and book early! Sessions are fun, relaxed, and all about you.
