Sarah: Senior Portraits, Class of 2011
Monday, July 5th, 2010

It’s finally time to introduce the class of 2011!

Possibly my final Class of 2010 senior. What a great year it has been!

Wow I cannot believe it has been a month since I have blogged. I am really behind now and I have so many sessions to share it will take me until January to get all caught up. Families, babies, maternity, and yes, many more seniors that have not yet been showcased here on the blog.
Polly braved the cold for her session earlier this month. I don’t think Polly actually knows how beautiful she is. She totally reminded me of Jessica Alba. Here are a few of my favorites.

Tiffany and I had a very interesting time at her senior portrait session traveling over several acres of property in ATVs and then on foot to visit some of her favorite places. Tiffany loves outdoors and nature and skeet shooting (more on that later) but she is also a fashion diva. I loved her clothing selections! This first image of her is one of my favorite images of the year and I have already had it printed for display in the studio.

She wishes she has blue eyes, but I think her brown eyes are stunning.

Taylor is one of my senior reps and I shot her senior portrait session(s) a while ago and have been dragging my feet on blogging about it. Not because I didn’t want too. But because I loved her session so much I couldn’t decide which images to showcase. I finally gave up and decided to create a slideshow of all of her images. There is a link to the slideshow at the end of this post.
Taylor is a talented dancer, singer, and actress. She had so many fun ideas for her session and it felt like a true calaboration. She has a very joyful personality that is absolutely contagious and it has been great working with her.
A couple of my favorites. . .

Going on the record to say I did nothing to enhance her eyes. They really are this blue!

It’s my son’s birthday today so there is a lot of family stuff going on, but I wanted to be sure to get a sneak peek up for Hannah. Hannah is as lovely on the inside as she is on the outside. I think I have mentioned before on the blog that I love shooting in fields and that I am always the look out for fields. When I arrived at Hannah’s house, I was surprised and thrilled to find a huge field right at the end of her yard.
Then we visited her neighbor’s barn (I love it when my clients find me great spots all on their own).
Seriously. . .these eyes. Amazing!
Finally, we finished up at the park where Hannah (and her mom) played when they were kids.
I seriously have the nicest clients. I think this a lot to myself, but I rarely ever say it to anyone else. But it’s true! I really do. Hannah was no exception. She brought TWO parents with her, which I admit made me a bit worried, but they were awesome to have around. Hannah is not only very pretty and very smart, but she has a big heart as well. She does volunteer work at Children’s Hospital and hopes to persue a career helping kids as well.
Kayla and I had a fun session visiting some places in my home town and looking for bits and pieces of fields and flowers. During a session, I don’t need the perfect location. I just need a few good pockets of location–small areas of interesting color or texture to use as a backdrop. Many times what looks like the middle of no where, is really a patch of grass next to a parking lot! If your senior session is scheduled in the next few months, be on the look out for “pockets” we can use for your session.
Now a sneak peek of the lovely Kayla!
