First the business: Everyone who has placed an order as of today (11/30) should have their orders by the end of the week. The exceptions are albums which take longer.

Now the personal: Although I don’t write much about myself or my family here on the blog, when I meet my clients in person we always end up talking about our kids with each other. I’m a child and family photographer so it makes sense! Many of you know I have a wide age range of children. My oldest is now officially no longer a child as he just turned 18. My sister was in town last weekend so I asked her to shoot his senior portraits. Check them out. In case you wondered, he’s 6′7″ but I think he has finally stopped growing.

Here’s another precious little girl I’ve been photographing since she was a newborn. I couldn’t find an old blog post, so here’s a reminder.

And almost 18 months later. . .

I have no idea what this place is, but someone has put a lot of work into it and you gotta admire it for that if nothing else.

. . .because I spent the last two days taking all of the portraits for my son’s preschool. Of course it was a lot of fun too. Most of the children really enjoyed being photographed (due to privacy issues I can’t share any images here). One child, however, was most uncooperative. Can you guess who??

Update on my availability: I have no more openings in 2008. I am currently booking for January 2009 and beyond.

Seniors: I am now offering min-sessions for seniors. Mini-Sessions last 30 minutes and must take place at a single location in Butler County. Urban locations such work great for mini-sessions. For rates and details, check out my senior site, Modern Senior Portrait, or shoot me an email.

I’ve also been thinking about snow. I really want to add another Senior Portrait Session that takes place in the snow to my portfolio. So if you are brave and like to wear boots and sweaters, please contact me for a special offer.

Finally I am getting caught up after the craziness of October. I have several sessions that I did not share. This is a cute brother and sister that I first photographed last spring when the dandelions were in bloom. Little sister started walking since then so this time I had both of them to chase!
