I can’t believe I’ve neglected my blog like this! October is a CRAZY month for portrait photographers and blogging took a back seat. Meanwhile, Megan has been patiently waiting for the sneak peek I promised her. So without further ramblings from me . . . beautiful Megan:

Loved the sweet light here (yes, this sort of thing excites me).
Some may remember this handsome young man I photographed last year. One of his favorite activities is going fishing so he asked his mom if this year I could photograph him while fishing and I was happy to accommodate him! I could not have asked for a better day. The colors were so vivid and I love the amazing reflections of sky and trees in the water.
We also found time to drive down the road to The Old Stone House for something a bit more formal.
The color has finally arrived and it is officially my favorite time of year for shooting. I’m super busy right now, but I couldn’t pass up sharing this adorable (and very busy) pair of brothers. Until next time. . .

The last time I photographed this little guy he was just a baby. Now he’s a big brother and quite a deep thinker as well. Chipmonks, deer, rocks, sticks. . .so many things to ponder!

The session had already ended when I grabbed this father and son shot which reminded me of a similar shot two years ago.

I first photographed this cute pair of sisters back in June of 2007. Back then, little sister didn’t say much. This time around, she had no problem speaking her mind (which was usually to say she didn’t want me taking her picture)! It was hard not to laugh that someone could be so small and so adorable, and yet so determined. Big sister was as sweet as ever and even threw in a few “America’s Next Top Model” moments for me much to my surprise.
