Although the bulk of my business is babies, children, and families, I really enjoy working with High School seniors. I’ve put together an information site for Senior Portraits. Senior images are on my main site in the gallery, but all other info is located here. Check it out!

Today was a VERY BIG DEAL. We took my two youngest children to lunch in a somewhat upscale restaurant and nobody asked for french fries.

My new and improved website is up. Same look, just bigger and better. The wedding gallery is not active yet. I am still working on it and should have it up within the week. Let me know if you have any problems. If you visit my site a lot, you will probably have to clear your browser’s history to get the new site to look right.

I just finished explaining to my younger children what the expression, “you sound like a broken record” means. Complete with sound effects. Using an Elvis tune (because I remember my parents listening to Elvis records on the HI-FI).

Now they are both running around the house mimicking broken records. Again. Again. Again.

So I’ve been trying to keep a secret, but I can’t contain it anymore. I’m working on a new website. It has the look and feel of the old one (same colors, similar layout), but everything will be bigger and better. There will even be a little button to turn off the music which should make loads of people happy:) I can’t wait to unveil it. It should be ready in the next couple of days.

I decided I didn’t really like how this blog design is turning out so I am going to be trying something different. Which means, for the next several days the site may look weird as I work on it. Please bear with me.

UPDATE: That didn’t take as long as I thought. I think I like this design. Let me know what you think. Are you able to find your way around using the navigation bar above? Do you like the layout and design, or does it put you to sleep? Honest opinions wanted.

I showed up armed with studio lights and backdrops. “M” had other ideas. And hey, it was her second birthday. She deserves to get her way. I was worried when I left. I admit it. The entire session was so different from my usual way of running things. What I got when I took a peek at the images was a very pleasant surprise. And the feeling that I stepped out of my comfort zone and not only survived, but thrived.
