Look at the cute little lips!

I’m such a bad blogger these days! I have more sessions than I can count that have not been featured here on the blog and I am going to try and fix that very soon. In the meantime, I wanted to share a few recent maternity images. I have had an abundance of maternity clients in the past few months, which means very soon I will also have an abundance of newborns to photograph. I can’t wait!
Some of these were shot “in home” and some were shot in the studio. Where you have your maternity session really depends upon the look you are going for. I hope these images can give you an idea of the difference between the two styles.

This was not quite what we had planned. The image was supposed to just be hands and no faces. But I love how it turned out even more. Mistakes can be good things!

I belong to a wonderful organization called Operation Love Reunited that provides portraits for the families of deployed military members. Recently, I was thrilled to be able to shoot maternity portraits for Ashley while her husband served in Iraq. When their sweet baby girl was born, Daddy got to come home for a few weeks to see her and I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing him as well.

Sharing a few from a recent maternity session.
A sample of a 10 inch by 20 inch collage. Collages are easily the most popular item I offer!
I offer a special session fee if you book both a maternity and newborn session. Please call or email for details. The best time for your maternity session is around 32 weeks.
Once again a rather large share because I couldn’t pick just a few. Seriously, how cute are these two? Simon and Jenny’s first child is due to arrive in a month. I met them for the first time Friday night but we clicked right away and I can tell they are going to make great parents.
