Very sweet little man! He didn’t even mind when I sat him in the wet grass. And look at this smile!

. . .my children agree to allow me to photograph them.

Wow, a whole month of no posts. I’ve been busy with shooting, editing, home improvements and planning a little trip to see my sister. Getting ready to attend a Memorial Day party today. In the meantime. . .
take time to remember. . .
. . .that freedom isn’t free. If you know someone who served/serves in our armed forces, please sincerely thank them. They will appreciate it so much. And if you know someone who is missing a loved one right now. . .

Give them a hug. And try not to complain about your own life today. Be thankful. . .
Look at the cute little lips!

It’s always so wonderful to watch my littlest clients grow. The last time I saw this sweet little guy he was a newborn. Now he is 9 months old, sitting up and even doing the “diaper dance”.

I belong to a wonderful organization called Operation Love Reunited that provides portraits for the families of deployed military members. Recently, I was thrilled to be able to shoot maternity portraits for Ashley while her husband served in Iraq. When their sweet baby girl was born, Daddy got to come home for a few weeks to see her and I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing him as well.

It’s Christmas eve. The presents are actually wrapped before midnight this year. Soon we will light candles and begin our celebrations. But I wanted to share some recent family sessions before I go. I had the pleasure of photographing many families this year for their holiday cards. Each one was unique and each one was a delight. Here are some of my favorite images.
Seniors: Starting in November and continuing throughout the winter, senior portrait sessions will have to move into the studio here in Butler, PA. If the weather is nice, we can make the adjustment and go outside, but for planning purposes we should plan on a studio shoot because we just have no way of knowing at the time of booking if the weather will cooperate. The studio is near some neat urban areas so even if it is cold, we can probably pop outside for a few minutes to get some urban shots. We are also doing some work to the studio to make sure your studio portraits are unique and reflect the same modern yet natural style you see in my outdoor work.
Outdoor senior portraits are typically scheduled for weekday afternoons after school. Studio Senior sessions are scheduled on Tuesdays, Thursday, and Saturday only (day or evening). There are no Saturdays left in September or October.
Families: I have no more weekend dates left in September or October. I do not plan to do outdoor family Christmas card sessions in November due to weather issues, but I can photograph babies or children(siblings) in the studio or in your home. The studio is not really large enough for families or groups. The absolute cut off for having a Christmas portrait session for your baby or child is November 15th.
Sorry no pictures. Too busy to post any at the moment but hopefully over the weekend. I wanted to get the word out that I am completely booked until the final week of August. If you would like an autumn color session, the time to book is now!
