Just a little note to let everyone know that I will be out of touch for a few days. I am off to a session in a moment and then I have a day full of sessions tomorrow. Sunday I plan on taking off to celebrate my birthday (my birthday isn’t until Tuesday but I have work to do on Tuesday). All email and voice messages will be returned Monday, June 8 after 9AM. Well, I hate to say it (because no is definitely not one of my favorite words) but June is full and I cannot take any more bookings. It’s not sorta-kinda-maybe full. It’s overflowing full. I am now booking for July and August. I will be on vacation in the middle of July (ocean breezes here I come!) and with the Independance Day holiday at the beginning of July, there isn’t a lot of open space left in that month. Some August dates have already been filled. I would encourage all high school seniors who are considering me for their senior portraits to book soon. August is traditionally my busiest month for seniors.

So, I’m slightly behind the times with this social networking thing, but I finally got a Myspace and a Facebook. The Myspace is pretty much done, but the Facebook is still rather pathetic looking as I haven’t had a chance to do anything with it. Still, I’d love it if you’d come find me.

Update on my availability: I have no more openings in 2008. I am currently booking for January 2009 and beyond.

If you are currently waiting on an order, I should have all orders shipped by next week.

Seniors: I am now offering min-sessions for seniors. Mini-Sessions last 30 minutes and must take place at a single location in Butler County. Urban locations such work great for mini-sessions. For rates and details, check out my senior site, Modern Senior Portrait, or shoot me an email.

I’ve also been thinking about snow. I really want to add another Senior Portrait Session that takes place in the snow to my portfolio. So if you are brave and like to wear boots and sweaters, please contact me for a special offer.

Well, I’m back. We were without power since Sunday and as of yesterday they were telling us it would be Friday before it was restored. So imagine my excitement when I woke up this morning with lights! Silly me, I walked into the bathroom and didn’t even notice the small lamp I keep in there was on until I was leaving the room.

To update you on my progress. All orders have been sent to the lab first thing this morning. I am now working on the proofing galleries that were supposed to be online within the past few days. After that I will be returning all email and phone calls.

I’ll be back in a little bit to post some pictures of the storm damage in my neighborhood.

In Honor of Mother’s Day, any session booked during the month of May will received a complimentary 10×20 storyboard (3-4 images) or 12×12 collage (3-4 images). You do not need to have your session in May, only call to book your session during the month of May. This offer cannot be combined with any other special offer (silent action winners, gift card recipients etc).

My new and improved website is up. Same look, just bigger and better. The wedding gallery is not active yet. I am still working on it and should have it up within the week. Let me know if you have any problems. If you visit my site a lot, you will probably have to clear your browser’s history to get the new site to look right.

So I’ve been trying to keep a secret, but I can’t contain it anymore. I’m working on a new website. It has the look and feel of the old one (same colors, similar layout), but everything will be bigger and better. There will even be a little button to turn off the music which should make loads of people happy:) I can’t wait to unveil it. It should be ready in the next couple of days.

I decided I didn’t really like how this blog design is turning out so I am going to be trying something different. Which means, for the next several days the site may look weird as I work on it. Please bear with me.
