It’s been two years since I first met this little one whose birthday is on the Fourth of July. She is my most frequently photographed subject, perhaps even more than my own children. It’s been a while since I saw her last, so I was thrilled to be able to photographer her for her second birthday. First, to refresh your memory.

And her most recent session. She just keeps getting even more beautiful!
Kayla and I had a fun session visiting some places in my home town and looking for bits and pieces of fields and flowers. During a session, I don’t need the perfect location. I just need a few good pockets of location–small areas of interesting color or texture to use as a backdrop. Many times what looks like the middle of no where, is really a patch of grass next to a parking lot! If your senior session is scheduled in the next few months, be on the look out for “pockets” we can use for your session.

Sorry no pictures. Too busy to post any at the moment but hopefully over the weekend. I wanted to get the word out that I am completely booked until the final week of August. If you would like an autumn color session, the time to book is now!

It was a dark and stormy night. . . I sort of feel like I should begin that way! Molly, her mom, and I came very close to being rained out. Thankfully, we were able to readjust some of our plans and make it work (said in my best Tim Gunn voice). I loved Molly’s smile and enthusiasm and of course, her beautiful red hair! 
She’s beautiful with curly red hair and a lot of personality. She also has the distinction of being my very real client. So clearly she’s very special! And once a year I get the pleasure of photographing her again. Here she is the day I met her.

This little fellow was an absolute joy to work with. I’ve been trying to blog all day, but I had a such a hard time selecting images. They were all beautiful!
Just a little note to let everyone know that I will be out of touch for a few days. I am off to a session in a moment and then I have a day full of sessions tomorrow. Sunday I plan on taking off to celebrate my birthday (my birthday isn’t until Tuesday but I have work to do on Tuesday). All email and voice messages will be returned Monday, June 8 after 9AM.
